Which way round do suspension springs go? Yes another dumb question from me

Trying to fit some Britpart Heavy Duty springs to my 90 but not sure which ones go on the front and which ones go on the back.

The one on the right is thicker and as a compressed coil at one end..
 
Its a sign.

There **** and you shouldnt fit them! :eek:

Or if your that determined you should put the bigger/longer ones at the front to compensate for your lardy arse and the engine. ;)

Also check there is no difference in right and left size.

The one on the right is thicker and as a compressed coil at one end..

The left one is a front spring and the right one is for the rear. Only know tis cos ive got those springs. Although mine had front and back written on them when i bought them :)
 
if your fitting rear spring re-locaters, then fit the tighter spring at the bottom so the hook has more more room between coils to grab the last one
 
Fitted the compressed section of the springs at the bottom. Did 3 smoothly without mishap then the passanger side was a pita. Nut cross threaded then it got dark, so now ive got a 90 with one corner 1" lower than the rest!
