Hi, while driving on the M62 to Manchester today the ABS/Traction warning came on, now I have searched the forum and know I need to look at the accumulator, and ensure the battery is topped up. But I also have no cruise control? is this related?

Did you get the handbrake light too? All 3 tend to stay on with underpressured brakes. Otherwise it may be a faulty wheel sensor - I don't know if cruise control is turned off if there's a fault detected?

I use cruise control everyday as I work 42 miles away from where I live

was just the 2 warning lights the handbrake warning goes off soon as it's released.

I could be brake light switch related if it comes out of adjustment the ABS and TC light comes on and also traction fail message.
To adjust the brake light switch press the brake pedal down and pull out plunger on the switch , it should be on a ratchet type thing. then let the brake pedal back and it will adjust itself

Tried and it just doesn't move it's really crunchy feeling in both directions

also I've no brake lights :-(

**update**

New brake light switch on order should be here tomorrow (fingers crossed)

checked all fuses and relays, all seems fine

key in ignition turned to ignition live and ABS pump ran for 33 seconds then started car went above 15mph all dash lights went out soon as I touch the brake pedal ABS warning followed by Traction Fail

so anyone local to St Helens area that I can plug into a box of tricks to read faults before I start spending a small fortune?
