I have bought on he and sold items on here safely, I only use PAPAL as payment , keeps it secure then and you can claim if need be though the few things I have sold were fine no problems.
It's **** when some rips you off and puts you off buying again off sites, I didn't realise there was alot of spam on this site to be fair
What sort is there? People not sending stuff when paid for?

Not a lot but it happens occasionally. Anyone found wanting on the selling front will get ripped apart on here and they know it but that doesn't make a lot of difference if they just joined to shift some stuff.

However if you use the forum to get and share useful information, meet up with a few people and make some mates......you're less likely to want to rip anyone off.

Thats my thinking anyway

I agree,I have found this site very useful and though at times not for the faint hearted people are very helpfull
And the abuse of people is great as well to be fair

There are loads of people who register and treat the place like Ebay but without the fees. to sell their tat and are never heard from again.
Some even try and dress up their advert with 'i've no idea what it worth' or such like.

Coz its free and not eBay
if it was ten, wouldn't take long for the complaints to pour in about dodgy sellers
I've been here Over 5 years and never sold anything
Have however used eBay, Gumtree etc
Personally wouldn't buy anything from someone who I thought joined just to sell their wares

there is still genuine people around and should not have to prove it by getting 50+ posts
what about making this a land rover club and joining and becoming a paid member and get club booklets and stickers etc

most of us voted to put it up to 100. if they want to sell they'll prove they're genuine, there are stickers too in the shop
