110 in France this summer.

Daft question I hope, taking the 110 to France in the summer, are there any laws regarding the rear inward facing seats/kids and seat belts that are different to the uk?

Don't want the old "we can escort you to a cash point sir!" From those nice blokes with blue BMWs and guns, radar and Gloks that is! Again!

out of curiousity what is the law on this in the UK?

Good luck in France.. I go every year just never in the 90. Will be interested to hear how you get on.

Older vehicles are allowed side facing seats. no need for seatbelts as in an accident they'll do more harm than good. Newer vehicles aren't allowed to be fitted as standard, however i would guess no issue in you fitting them.

I've not fitted side facing seats to mine because:

a) takes up more room in back
b) if they seatbelts do that much damage in an accident, I don't want to be responsible for deaths by having a dangerous vehicle (whether "legal" or not)

Your not allowed to have speed camera location warnings on your satnav in France , its illegal (I believe), plus some of their speed cameras are what hard to spot at times...

That silly law about breatharlyzers was abolished, supposed to have a change of light bulbs but in the 20 + years I've been here no bodies ever asked to have a look at them !!

Do I have to apply the headlight converter stickers? What if I have an extra set of driving lights on an A Bar. Would I need to sticky those as well?

Legaly you need to put them sticker things on yeh lights so that they dip to the right (not that I ever have ) Your spots on your A-bar are normaly wired up to full beam so you don't need to bother with them !

The two cops on bikes that pulled me over had a handheld radar gun, took them 5 miles to catch up with me.

So no worries with the inward facing seats.

You can go where you like as long as there is'nt a sign saying otherwise.
Don't stray off the tracks though otherwise they will come down on you like a ton of camembert !!!!!
