Unless it has been removed in the past and not put back straight, then it will be squint due to your tracking having been adjusted by a half-assed mechanic in too much of a rush to do the job properly.....Doing front wheel alignment on a car PROPERLY can take a lot of time, so most places who charge a fixed £30 or so for doing it need to get the job done quickly to avoid loosing money, therefor they loosen off one track rod end and adjust that side only until the overall reading is within spec. The problem is that your steering rack is now slightly offset to one side when you go in a straight line, meaning that your car will turn in a tighter circle in one direction than the other and if its out by too much, you start getting other wheel alignment problems due to the uneven lengths of the steering arms and the effects they have on the hub through its course of suspension movement.
