As the title suggests im having problems connecting my copy (from Datatek) of eas suite to my car, i've done it before and after altering the comm port number i managed to get it to work, no such luck today, i can only get port 3 to be accepted by eas suite, i didnt have this problem before, i initialize it but cant get a good idle, im guessing this is a connection error but dont know how to fix it, any thoughts? cheers

If it worked before, it should work again...

Try looking under the device manager for the correct Comm port number for the serial device and seeing if it is the same one in EASUnlock

Try unplugging it all, turn off the laptop, reboot, once botted, plug the USB interface in and wait for the USB initialisation bong...then plug the Lead into the interface and boot up the software...

So I managed to get it connected, basically by pressing initialise and then stop when it didn't work, repeated maybe 10 times and it connected, read codes and got code 4 air supply leak, cleared it, all worked ok for a few minutes but now I'm getting the 35mph message and the access height light is on, although I'd say the car is at driving height, tried to reconnect but it wouldn't, now it seems the laptop has gone off and can't be restarted, very strange

Read the instructions you have to disconnect it properly.
Didn't really have an option cus it just turned itself off but just ran through it all again and everything seemed fine, no codes ( disconnected properly) went up down and back up again, set it to normal ride height, just about to turn off engine and sleep well for the night and then bottom light on only, 35 mph message again, car sat at normal height and not low, checked with eas suite again, no codes, can't adjust height.

What would air supply fault generally mean? Compressor seems to be working well, air goes up and down as it should, well it did until today and it did after I cleared the code, in the past its taken well under 10 minutes to fill the tank which I believe is good, no air leaks that I know of, air stays up although I use it every day so can't be 100% sure

Could be anything does not need to be fault in air supply, could just be ECU has detected a sensor dropping. If there is no pressure to lift it up then you would get that fault. Have you done the checks in my How to at top of page?
