Help with brakes please.

Is this something worth trying to fix or is it a bite the bullet type thing and replace the unit?

see if you feel up to it -

ask some others on here if they agree it may be the MC seals

Don't forget that the first seal in the system is the seal between reservoir and master cylinder be that an o ring or a hose, so black stuff doesn't necessarily mean that it's the master cylinder seals going...

ok so im going out for round 2

Fixed

Turns out the spare wheel i was using didnt make a good connection to the eezibleed inlet,it lost pressure by the time i opened the first nipple.
Parked the 110 next to it and used the wheel on that,hey presto,loads of air bled out and now stops on sixpence.
