Erm seems to be a bit of a mystery, but my take is that they all have this sensor, (all those with ABS, TC and HDC) the Q is where is it located. Might be worth paying a visit to your local friendly LR parts bloke and getting him to pull up the schematics for your VIN number.
 
i will do but surely the lights would be on all the time... i have the wabco set up ( something like that lol)

like i have the 2 pin brake light switch which doesn't effect the 3 amigo's

also autodata for my year doesnt list a G sensor under the wiring either

We need Hippo or Nodge - guys does the early Wabco set up feature a G sensor - Seems to be some debate?

When mine was failing I had intermittent amigo lights on.
 
i have used a rave disc for the pre 2001 model and they dnt list a connector for the G sensor auto data doesnt list it and mine doesnt have it lol
 
im bk at the garage tuesday as i managed to source a new pump and it didnt work but i have improved things i think

turn ignition on lights all go out for EXACTLY 1 mile then they come back on same again ign off and back on go a mile and on again
 
all the help and advice from before has being carried out to my best knowledge

just a recap

had 2 new ABS sensors 2 new rings (same side)
new ABS ECU
new ABS pump (well 2nd hand lol)
this has improved things from being permanently on to coming on after a mile turn ignition off and start again do another mile(ish) so its intermittent as the lights are not on all the time
 
being out in the car today and noticed that when my TC light goes out when the abs light does... is that normal i thought the TC light went out without moving

Why not try changing the other two ABS sensors?

Correct. ABS light out a 5mph. The rest just after start up, assuming same as my 2001. Re wheel sensors, when my G sensor was diagnosed as culprit of amigos, I was shown all 4 wheel sensors working on the Snap on code gismo as we drove along, so u could see that they were good!!
 
the last time i went to garage after fitting my sensors to make sure i had done them right ( free which was good)

it showed all 4 wheels working well i have a 2000 model with no G sensor in the console and only the 2 pin switch (rave and autodata wiring diagrams doesnt list a G sensor for mine

Actually driving they were fine, so live data?
 
im going back to tuesday i will get live data then of the wheel sensors working and upload if possible

just a pain coz every time i turn the ignition off and on it clears it for a mile... altho when the car is first started the lights are on and by the time i went to shop half mile away and got bk to car the lights went off but soon came on before i got home....

this might be nothing but i will add sometimes when i start the car the brake pedal kicks back

You just need to see all 4 working/reading the same - nothing to upload here:) Frustrating for you - if I think of anything else will post. are u sure wheel bearings are 100pc? The fact that you get amigos up along the road suggests to me that it is failing to see even wheel speed, which suggests wheel sensors!!
 
yes when i was last at the garage with the car on machine after i fitted 2 sensors i was driving while he was using machine and he showed me them all working.. its the fact the lights do go out which to me indicates things are working upto a point
