I know where there is one but I am not selling .
Gearbox r380 or not is not cheap, get your old one reconditioned at ashcrofts or buy a secondhand one off them.
If you have lots of cash buy a new box from landrover.
Any of the above will get you back on the road no question.
Ebay ones could be a gamble, so see any other ones working if you can.
Hi and thanks for the replys, i dont have a 380 to exchange its going in a rebuild, just collecting bits, when you say expensive what you taking just trying to get an idea on a price
Hi im still looking for a r380 defender box but have just spent two hours reading all the posts on converting a disco box.so am i right in thinking after the convetion, using disco bell house, fabing a spigot, and using a lt77 linkage, you end up with the gear sticks in the correct position and not in the mid seat.im using a r380 tunnel and saetbox. if you read this and have done it can i ring you for more info
r380 def uses same bell housing as disco, its just a matter of swapping selector shaft and quadrant and fitting lt77 or r380 def top or making a spigot to fit def top on disco yoke
