took it for a drive through the dales .. ( via pateley bridge - grassington )
found an untreated snowy side road .. about a mile long 'n uphill all the way ..
had confirmation that the vcu 'n abs be working as they should :)
( first chance to drive it in snow since i bought it last year .. )

Bought another one :D

52 plate 3 door in dark metallic green (Oxford green was it?), GS spec, 1.8 petrol, 17 inch wheels, 117k on the clock, partial service history including head gasket, cambelt etc. Light protectors, seat covers, load area mat. MOT end April.

Oh, and original Land Rover radio cassette with CD stacker. Quite impressed with the sound really!!

Interior and bodywork very very nice. Drives nicely but slight tremor through steering (poss wheel balance). No documentation for 4WD being replaced but its all there and seems to work fine.

Further testing required and a few things to sort, but very pleased with it for the price.

i have being out and bought some paint to repair my heated rear screen and i had my Egr blanking/removal kit arrive

i then looked out the window and said to myself these jobs are not in a rush as i was already cold lol

absolutely worth doing though matey, well done :)

I'm only doing it cos SV or Will said so. Having followed Rave instructions on re filling you shouldn't really have to - anyhow stop moaning DD3!! BTW quick thanks to jamesmartin - he knows stuff!!

very sound advice, also check it as often as you can (not to the point of paranoia though )

all these little upgrades and doing things in a certain way will lessen the likelyhood of expensive damage occurring.;)

JM is the man:cool:

Funny thing is Freelaner, I've had years of being warned that any minute the old Fleeby will blow HG. Never has (don't care if I'm tempting fate). This has blighted my ownership / viewpoint, which is a shame.

What's worse than that is when it actually happens

mine went at 78k just after I bought it.

i really wish i'd done my homework or knew that LZ existed. :(
