Freelander Clutch Judder

Hi All, My Freelander 1 has developed a clutch judder when pulling away in 1st gear when cold, all other gears are okay and it is okay when been running for a while, any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Try to get some oil down the clutch actuation arm on the gearbox.
These are prone to seizing.

Agree. You can always count on the matches thing, the doors falling off thing and everything else unreliable thing.

Question...and I have 'searched'....why are they called tratterers?

coz fenders are big square noisy tratters and drove by farmers
