Wide angle or dc?

After some new props for me 200 disco
Are wide angle or double Cardon better for lifted and big wheels?

What do u think I've been doin for the last 30 mins on my tea break

Know one gives an answer that says ones better suited than the other, I can get disco 2 props to fit but DC props u have 2 more ujs wide angle u dont

so in theory wouldn't a DVD have more angle as the two UJ's will allow for extra side to side and up/downwards travel ?

Just buy the DVD ones and remember to grease both UJ's

when i was looking i told to stay way from dc props so i opted for wide angled ones no problems yet

double de cardon joints are a constant velocity joint.
they are not for more extreme angles they are for when flange angles are to far out of parallel with each other to be overcome with changing the phasing on a standard hooks type(ordinary) joint, typically the front prop as the drivetrain angles are way different.

is it not as broad as it is long?
wide angle, only 2 UJS, but each UJ is doing more work, so life will be less.
DC, twice as many UJs, but only doing "normal" amounts for movement

I had this convo with Gwyn Lewis and came away with 2 wide angled Bailey Morris props.
He said the DC props were more prone to failure, so wide angled it was.

I can get 2 w/a props for £300 Gwynn Lewis are nearly that each.i had them on my error and they were good but I ain't got that dosh

wide angle is good for 2-3" lift without corrected radius arms, above that and with corrected arms double cardon as it cuts down the vibration that corrected arms cause,
but dont expect a disco2 double cardon to be upto the job
