Above about minus 20C IMO the heated screen is a waste of time if you have aircon And at minus 20C and below it's heated wipers and washer fluid that's really needed

I like to be able to demist noiselessly, also heated screens don't rely on you remembering to top up your washer fluid! Press a button and 30 seconds later watch the snow start to slide off the screen - lovely!
