Why is the owner facing a 20k bill? That is why garages have insurance. Story out of nothing.

Reading the article, to me it's not a Lambo main dealer so it's probably the garages insurance co. telling them not to admit liability .. even if the tester was a plank out of his depth...
 
Their mechanic crashed the car while carrying out a test. They have no excuses to not pay. "We ruined your car, but it isn't our problem" hardly holds water, the only excuse they could have to get out of it would be to say the mechanic took the car unknown to anyone else. That of course means he will get a arrested for TWOC and they can't use that card now. Not to mention he damaged other parked vehicles which the garage will also have to pay to fix.
 
At the end of the day it doesn't matter because were all envious git's who ain't got 120k to blow on a motor:doh:

But for 20k you could buy a very tidy DB7 or XKR (about 6 or 7k if you go for an older model). I've found myself toying with the manmaths to see if I could justify it (the older jag that is, I'm not a footballer).

I bloody hate driving a normal car, yet whenever I jump into the Disco I feel right at home ... so I reckon I'd spend the dosh on totally re-building my Disco if I didn't like the Aston:D

If I won the lottery I'd pay to have my RR completely restored to new, probably only the chassis would remain so much I'd want replacing. But you need something for Sunday (which you mostly drive Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday rush hours) to drive around at 20MPH while taking in the lovely views whiles everyone behind you is late.

Would be nice to have a quarter of the money this guy has.
 
haha,i like the bit about "can't put it on a rolling road because it's 4x4 and would damage it" WTF did he do then improve it :doh:
