Before you do, check all the vacuum pipes for splits if you haven't already done so:)

checked sir :) read up on previous posts about that 1. i was a good boy and did a search :D:D:D

replaced all the pipes at the actuator end and a good length behind the engine. cant see where the hell it goes to after that, ie by the brake servo side. put a new working switch in and still nothing. last resort is looking at the control unit(s). think i might have a duff 1 or something :)

It goes to a second Brake Switch on the pedal - This second Brake Switch is what turns the CC off and also has a Vent Valve to purge the CC pipes of the Vacuum....
