You should have got the uprated BMW breather crankcase filter instead of the crappy material ones that block up !

The BMW ones never need changing once fitted
There a cyclone type filter

Have you a part number or details of a car that has same engine

Also does the TD6 have the inlet manifold swirls valves fitted or is that one less thing to worry about !!!

Not sure of the exact part number

I know you can buy the whole filter and the casing or just the filter bit

Search for freelander crankcase breather as the freelander td4 one fits our td6 engines

As they're the same engines but we have 2 more cylinders obviously

Not sure about the manifold swirls ?!?

Thats the one.

the second pic is a picture of the outer casing, your car should have exactly the same fitted already. The casing is the same if you have the filter type or the uprated vortex type, they both should fit.

nope it never ends, its a hobby remember

Iv spend 2.5K on mine in the last 4 months, not because something broke, as i was bored and wanted to do a full facelift and rear facelift

got to say, no need to change my motor anymore, got the facelift i wanted, got the 2011 exterior design pack back end i wanted and it looks like a new car !

there's no real difference in the interior of the later models to warrant changing.

as anything i buy now up to 2009 will look older than what i have already

Well I have my plate fitted so its age is irrespective now

Covered 2500 mile in 6 weeks since buying it - but certainly still lovin it ! :clap2:

It is Blue Metallic with blue leather and white trim interior
