Hi there. I have just fitted the extended axel breathers but there is two brass 'plug' like bolts in the kit I have and I don't have a clue what they're for. Any help appreciated. Cheers peeps.
Wading plugs. One in the bottom of the bell housing and one in the bottom of the timing case. Fit them when you plan to wade and remove when you're done.
So st the moment they are just open threaded holes?
some people put a breather on the timing inspection hole,
then bung it up and check it when you do oil changes.
Does anybody know if the gear box breathers are the same fitting as the axel breathers?
Brilliant. Cheers mate. Bloody awkward to get to underneath and above transfer box. Any other way????
