Hi All,

I've just this week bought a 2dr range rover which i'm dead happy with - but have run into a problem already! I've just taken it off road for the first time (just across a couple of a mates fields - nothing serious!) and after coming off the headlights, indicators, and wipers no longer work! (they flickered on/off a bit before staying off)

Sidelights work, full beam works, but not dipped beam! I've taken a look at the fuse box - consists of 3 fuses (?!) but they all seem okay... if a little old!

Anyone have any ideas? Can anyone tell me what each fuse is for too - have literally just spent the first hour looking online but found nothing - except that it will tell me on the cover - which unfortunatley I don't have!

Cheers :D

Fett is your man for the 2dr Classics....

I take it you have checked the wiring plugs on the back of the light fittings, and also checked the secuirty of the wiring on the back of the light switch....

What year is it?? and Photos would be nice - not many 2 doors around now!

no dipped beam could be as simple as both bulbs blown, it does happen. but the control arms on the steering column both share the same earth, that could be loose.

paulg, check wire from switch to lights. common fault. easy fix run new cable. blue and red feeds front main beams

The wires drop off the back of the fusebox and the light switches them selves.
Also same wih wipers etc..how old is it?

cheers everyone for the input though - i now have lights again! :)

also managed to fill almost a whole carrier bag of wires - which didn't do anything and were just loose under the dash / bonnet!
