Went to pick up a heavy CRT monitor last night and noticed how much nicer the landy drives with an extra hundred weight in the boot. So, think it's time that the spare wheel got relegated from the bonnet to the back and improve the balance...I'll keep the bonnet one for expeditions though.
I don't want to store it in the back cos with the roll bar and all the spares and tools I carry there wouldn't be a lot of room left for the shopping or passengers - not that anyone would be daft enough to sit in the back...
I've got a tailgate, so what are the options?
New ones look frigging pricey! Will one for a 90/110 be bodgeable?
Anyone know of any plans for one to fit a series? I've had a poke round on the net but not much in the way of measurements....I've got plenty of scrap iron and a welder?
Anyone got a beat up one they'd like to sell?
Any other ideas?
