Removing the blanking panels for the switches?

I need to fit the front fog switch but other than stripping down the dash - how can I remove the blanking plate?

must be an easier way??

It's out

Much easier than I thought, but I was lead to believe the loom for the fogs would be in there? Can't see anything :-(

You will need to either remove the panel from the dash, or if you are lucky you might find it if you pull the radio. I moved the cruise switch from the far left to the position nearest the steering wheel where it is more convenient. The fog connector was there on mine.

Thanks for the info guys

I've stopped for a break and Chinese dinner :)

Let you know how I get on later

Saint V8 yes it's a diesel auto - but I'm moving the gearbox rad before I fit the lamps

** update **

Chinese was delicious - and the wine much needed!

And I found the connector for the plug, was covered in insulation tape and well hidden! But having said that, it's all in and back together :) so just the rad to move and lamps to install now :)

The oil rad near the FL is a stupid place for it to go tbh, mine is constantly getting clogged up with mud and crap. LR didn't think it through.

No you're right, total rush job by Land Rover, and it fits elsewhere with no drama from what I can see (will let you know when I move it)

Will try and post up some details when I do my move

It does? In that case mine has been half inched. I did ponder if having some sort of grille would stop some of the crud getting stuck.

as far as I can tell all this flap does is get hot and restrict the airflow?

but it will be staying it's just the rad that is being moved

Ah yes, that is AWOL on my truck. My thoughts for modding one involved vents which pointed downwards, this way flow was still there but unless I was reversing very quickly, the crud couldn't get into. Thanks for taking the picture, looks like I'll be visiting the breakers yard again.
