Windscreen wiper stopped working

Hey, First post!

I was hoping for some help, I have a problem with my 1997 County 90 (on the grand schemes of things.. A very small issue!) I was wondering what speeds the windscreen wiper should go in each position.*

With the stick one click up.. It is in its fastest mode, then second click it is slightly slower... Which was ok for a while... But now there is no movement with the leaver in the most upward position.. Firstly .. Any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix, and what speed should it be running.

It should be 1 up regular speed, 2 up super fast. Or in my case 2 up is stop working

If wiring okay then brush repair available, or new motor £50ish be aware they can be configured left or right hand drive and won't park correctly until altered

On the 300tdi, are they controlled by one motor? And a mechanical movement to both arms, or Have they have separate motors?.. I haven't taken it apart yet. I hope it's just a dodgy connector in the wiring.

At least I now know what speeds they are ment to be running. Thanks.

Copper contacts in the steering column stalk can also wear, and the park switch (in the motor itself) also give up from time to time
