Fitted a silencer into what was a straight through exhaust, now I can hear my radio and my ears have stopped bleeding ......then last night pulled up on drive and glow plug light flickered on when still running so turned her off and took key out!!!!! And she started turning over but not firing put key back in and turned to no 2 pos and stopped turning over while I disconnected my battery, Have now ordered new ignition switch

Just made a side exit exhaust from an old 2.5td down pipe and a front shock absorber...

bought another 5 litres of wilkinsons doosel oil to top up my disco1 with after oilchange yesterday.

was selling it at £12 for 5 litres,
or £3-50 per litre,
needed litre & half, so big can won.

got lots for topping up now
(but dont use much anyway!)

oh, and greased up all my nipples.....nice...

made mental note to buy one shot grease for swivel hubs,
and seal repair kit for leaking steering box.

Isn't one shot grease just EP90 gear oil ?
