Location
back in Willenhall, West Midlands.
Good Morning to each and everyone of you in here :).

My name is Dave and i currently live in Caracas, Venezuela. lived here for 5 years having moved from Walsall in West Midlands. married a Venezuelan woman 4 years ago and now have a wonderful baby boy of 4 months :)

Anyway, we are planning on returning to UK later this year and i am searching for a good family car, safe and BIG! what better choice than a RR! hahaha

i have been reading a lot of the threads and trying to use the search, but i will be asking questions and some of them may have already been asked. sorry in advance to the regulars here :)

so thats me, joined and here to make a stand :):):)
also i am looking to buy a 4.6 HSE for around £2000, cash! prefer to have LPG and with airbags, not coils. just my choice :)

Maybe coz its still a lot better than lots of other places?

its all relative,

so say we take somewhere we (westernized Europeans) believe to be a struggling or developing country and we/you think that things are better in the UK because you have an infrastructure and government in place to deal with the day to day running of the country and all its constituent parts, meaning you dont live in a lawless and dangerous country, you have a financial system in place to cater for your needs, you have medical and social care, you have education and possible academic enrichment possibilities and you have democratic control of your nation and its direction, all sounds good doesn't it? but in reality its all B.S, in my opinion the UK has been screwed up beyond all reason.

I think it will take a very long time before the UK becomes any kind of civilized country again, there are much worse places yes, but there are much better too, the world is a small place now and Europe is bloody tiny.

Im not having a crack at you MHM as i dont ever recall seeing you post whinging posts about the state of the UK and all the social problems associated with it, but those that do and then do nothing about it, meh, they are just blowing hot air, get off your arses and have a look about, the grass may just be greener for a reason.

believe me, if you lived here in south america you may think different lol.

ok, we have the cheapest fuel prices in the world! 2 pence a litre :) but with all the politcal situation, no importation, high customs charges, lack of food in the shops, guns in the streets, police more corrupt than the villans, UK seems like heaven :)

I wasnt saying it wasnt better than where you are now, but there are plenty of better places around the world and even in europe, but i can see why you want out of where you are now, just not sure why you want to go back to the uk.

Be safe until you move buddy and good luck with where ever you choose:)

I could not wait to move back to the UK from my time in the US. I have lived in 16 countries and have worked on assignments in over 50 countries and am ALWAYS happy to be back in blighty. No where like it in the world.

Falmouth MA - which is on Cape Cod. I think it was a bad choice of location as we did not fit in with the mega rich crowd and as brits the year round service community did not know what to do with us so we were kind of left to our own a bit. Its a great place to live in the summer but in the winter you are all alone for months and months.

I know I will get flamed for this - but the average american is really not very bright or interested in the wider world outside of the US and sometimes they were not interested in the world "off cape"......

You are right. That part of the US is the rich stuck up don't give a **** about any body but them selves. Nice place for 1 day only visit:rolleyes:.

Yes most don't know what is going on outside there little world. This is most of the USA. Daughter inlaw in college for social worker/abused women children. She does not know a thing outside of her life. Or got a clue with what is going on in the middle east, Iran Egypt,Syria etc.
