series clutch problem

series bearing guides dont wear ,and stuck bearing would give hard pedal first press if stuck back or after a couple of presses if stuck forward

the pedal felt 'normal' just didnt do anything wondering if lack of use has anything to do with it ?

Dunno if it'll help but if you take off the 2 bolts on the front of the gear lever mount and the semi-circular plate under it you can drip a drop (drop a drip?) of oil on the lift bearing
