Am I right in assuming that if the drain tube on the drivers side of the transmission tunnel is blocked then the foot well on that side will get damp and if blocked on the passenger side then that foot well will get damp.

My drivers side is damp and when I tried to unblock the tubes I got the usual damp arm on the passenger side but nothing out of the drivers side.

I'm 99% certain its not the o-rings as I'm not losing coolant and the carpet on the side of the transmission tunnel is bone dry. Pollen filters also bone dry.

Please excuse my ignorance but where would the other end of the tube originate from? Maybe I could have a look at that to see if its blocked,

If the aircon drains are blocked the water can swill about in the heater box and come out anywhere, but we carpets on the drivers side can just as easily be rain getting in. I have that problem.

That thought had crossed my mind but there is no sign of dampness any where above the floor and I know water finds the lowest point but thought there would be a some sign of dampness from above. And underneath looks solid.

Also it seems to virtually dry out occasionally (not weather related) but as the A/C is only coming on when we hit the program button at this time of year I was wondering if this had any bearing on it.

Water leaks don't you just luv em!!
