I spent another day driving mine around the island today. It's so nice to be able to drive it every day.:)

oh yes - congrats to Fleck :d

yu dint see a green disco full of kids and two distraught girlees on ya travels - did ya? :D:D:D

I saw the disco today but the occupants wuz all AWOL when I drove by. I have a sneaky suspicion that they thought they'd spotted me though cos when they pulled away later on they slowed right down when passing a parked up white 110 csw. It weren't me though cos I was behind them.:p:p:p

Still got to run the axle breathers up it and make sure it's fully airtight but the scary bit (cutting holes in me car) is done.

glad to see the back of those 2 insa turbo special tracks off the front and get full set of the 285 m/t's on the old 90 :D

Finally got the f***ing bottom crank pulley un-done! 3/4 Bar with a 30mm Impact Socket and a 10ft Scaffold bar on it.... + 15 Stone pulling on it!

Had to make myself a nice little locking tool, which worked really well and held the crank :)

ouch......
v-dub aircooled flywheel bolt - they do one that bolts through starter bolt hole/gearbox bolt hole, and locks into 2 starter ring gear teeth.
think it used 34mm socket, 3/4 bar also, and same scaffold bar too!
has to be done up silly tight for an old v-w......
