It's been a long time since I partook in MOT stuff, but like the Evil One says, they should be ok as long as they work and it's not leaning over to one side!!
On the subject of springs, I'm shopping for pairobollix springs for Larry, Britpart are affordable, but how do we know they are made specifically for Britpart, and not just made enmasse in bloody China and then labeled by different companies?
I do most of my shopping at Buckley Bros, It's all Britpart, and I've had no problems yet.........

If you want good paras get some from rocky mountain, they're a bit more expensive but they work

If you're interested in them I'd ring them up and see when they might have some in stock next, their american shop usually has most parts in so I guess they must get a stock shipment from there every so often

If not theres many other spring makers out there if you don't want britpart like these

My parabolics are from gb and have been on for about 8 years and are still going strong and haven't gone flat at all,well worth paying that bit extra.

If you want para's only buy decent ones. Else go for std LR leaf packs.

Haystee are by far and way the best parabolic springs. But you'll pay for the best. These are they guys that designed the originals as used on the 101FC and the Santana's.

Rocky Mountain do a copy version which is quite good too, cheaper but still toward the more expensive end of the price range. Be warned though, the UK Rocky Mountain spares doesn't always have them in stock and will flog you a different make (they do tell you), but these are not as good.

I've not yet read convincing evidence that any other parabolic is actually any good.

Truly avoid cheap ones.

Also make sure you get the right spring rate for your truck and use. If it's a pickup 88" used for trials, then you want a light spring rate, most cheap parabolics sold in the UK are too high a spring rate and won't flex at all off road.

On the flip side, LR's suffer terrible axle tramp, esp at the front. So twisted front springs are common.

do a search for gb springs on here then - every post i've ever seen about springs has had someone come on and advise GB springs and never seen anyone give a negative report from them (both paras and road)
