Discovery 2 Facelift Headlights and suspension

I have replaced my headlights this weekend after some evil muppet stole them. Apart from shearing of a bolt head due to rust it went OK.
But, the auto leveling suspension seems to be faulty. It might be coincidence that the suspension faulted at the same time but we had the air bags replaced around 6 months ago because they kept going down and everything has been fine until the lights were stolen.. With the disco not having lights for two weeks the suspension was down every morning but raised upon ignition - so we assumed it was due to lack of lights. Now we have replaced the lights (with auto leveling ones) we thought the suspension would start behaving but it has not. If I take the fuse out for the lights the suspension raises upon ignition. If I put it back in all is fine until we leave it overnight. Any ideas...?
Also after replacing the lights I have replace the broken top mounting bracket and front lower fascia but is there supposed to be a seal between the light and the wing?
Also the hole on the end of the fascia under the light - how is that supposed to mount to the wing/light to stop it flapping?
And lastly, any ideas on preventing them being stolen again? we live on a farm so were quite surprised they went... :-(

If I take the fuse out for the lights the suspension raises upon ignition. If I put it back in all is fine until we leave it overnight. Any ideas...?

Make me understand....
1. which fuse are u talking about... coz they are more for the headlights, or do u mean a fyusible link which is for more than just the headlights.
2. what's the difference in the SLS's behaviour with that fuse out or in

Sorry, should have been a little clearer...
We had the air bags fixed about 6 months ago after suspension sagging overnight and eventually wouldn't pump up upon ignition. All was well until the lights were stolen and it started to happen again although it did pump up with the ignition on and doors closed (no lights). We thought it must be related to the lights.

After I fitted the new headlights, upon first ignition the suspension DID NOT pump up. Rather than remove the lights (and connectors) I removed the fuse link FL10, switched the ignition on and the suspension pumped up. I replaced FL10 and tried again and all seemed OK although overnight the suspension dropped again but did pump up without removing FL10.

So my question is 'are the self levelling lights related to the SLS - are they linked in some way?' If they are how do I 'reset' the system, if not then it must be coincidence that the suspension started misbehaving again and as the airbags are new it must be the compressor.

In a logical order >
1. The fact that the SLS is loosing air over night cant be connected to lights/lamps... no way... deffinatelly there is a leak somewhere or an ECU missbehaviour on the exhaust valve somehow
2. IMO the FL10 removal cant affect the SLS whatsoever.... when it doesnt raised must have been some kind of coincidence
3. Try the soapy water test on the components to see where the leak is and do it ASAP otherwise u'll loose the compressor which now is overworking due to the leak... take out the compressor housing's cover and concentrate on the pipe connections and the valves but dont ignore the airsprings though
4. Once the leak is identyfied everything will get sense.
