Hi, i replaced engine and since doing this, it is struggling to start, i have really pump the trottle pedal, then it starts and misses for abit, after this if a keep dipping the throttle for a while it will tick-over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but the next day i have to do it all again. I want to M.O.T it now. Any suggestions Cheers Colin

Hi, Thanks for reply, could you give me info, were is it located, is it a temp sensor which sends signal to ECU? Colin

There are two temp sensors next to each other. One is for dash gauge one is for ECU. Look on front top of left bank looking from front. You want the one with a multi plug on it, the single wire one is the dash gauge.

Hi, Replaced green sender unit from old engine which seemed to be ok when it was in the car, it hasnt made any difference. Once i get it going by revving it for awhile it will tick-over, but if i switch it off it wont start and tick-over. and no way the next day!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, Crank position sensor, what do i do????? Why would it be this????? wouldnt this be ok from running in previous vehicle??????

we could sit here all night telling you what sensors and were thay are. would be easyer if you went out and traced each wireing loom and made sure its all conected. And dont forget about the lambo's in the exhaust.

nah i think i was wrong there audi's i think.

But im to siht at spelling for the proper name.

Hi, Well i was quite methodical when re-connecting the wiring loom, i will double check this again, i was asking for direction to the items, so i could do the job what was suggested (eg green sensor) some of us are new to all these sensors. I also want to know why there thought these items were at fault, isnt this how we all learn. Do you have any ideas whats wrong with my car ( fix it!!!! )

my idear whats wrong is that you havent connected one of the sensors. what one is any 1's guess.
