OK, so I'm fairly clueless so far....

Hi folks, new to the forum, thanks for having me.

I've wanted a Defender for ages - the closest I've come so far is buying a trailer that looks like the back end of a 90 (I think it's been used as a field kitchen for shooting sports, but don't know if such a thing would have been officially Land Rover built?).

I know very little about mechanics, so I'm hoping to buy a half-decent runner so I can learn about it as I use it. That's the plan anyway.... I thought I might post in the Defender section to ask you lot for some advice!
