turbo to actuator rod ceasing

Hi anyone have the same problem the turbo to actuator rod keeps ceasing on me landy its doin my nut in any one know how to prevent this cheers
 
Try a very big dose of WD40 and keep trying to move it - molegrips might be needed.

It's pretty common for them to seize up on the Td5 and quite often they can be free'd off with a bit of trying (and a fair bit of WD40).
 
I bought a second hand turbo for my old td5 this had a seized actuator, i freed it off over several days just by dripping engine oil onto the spindle and working it back and forth, worked fitted to car did many miles and was fine.

Yip got it freed but just know it will happen again. Just have to wait till its running like a coo again.
