This section is introduce yourself so....

I'm Ben, long time Land Rover fan.

First ever car was a ex MOD 2.5 N/A 90 (yes I learnt to drive in it) which was promptly stolen, ever since I have wanted another Defender but could not afford one.

Until now, as I have just got myself a 1991 Defender 110 V8 (factory) which I will be working on over the coming years.

see my progress at Defender 110 3.5L V8 1991 (if i'm doing any thing wrong / or if you have a better idea please let me know!!!!)

I thank you all in advance for the support and guidance you will provide (although all my questions so far have already been answered via search)

Ha Ha, Yeah i know what thats like. i think the few extra pennies / pounds are worth it for the awesome noise.

used a 10er to do 9miles earlier.

Yeah I bet.

Well here is my 110 Defender 110 3.5L V8 1991: August 2010
(new to this so the best i could do was copy a link to my blog in this post?! is there a better way?)

However fortunatly the fools at work give me a horid ford focus to fall alseep in up and down the M4. But i did put £150 in the 110 going to stoneleigh, which i never saw again (at least i arived in style and not in a focus!)

:jaw::biggrin1::biggrin1::biggrin1::5bhurray: why cant all newbies be like this one :D:D:D

Thanks JuiceyV8 and Minty.

I like to think I draw on my experiences in life, however English I was taught at school (so I was led to believe) and looking before you leap is comman knowledge?

Beyond that may nights of Landover research has led me to more understanding than a normal newbie (at least I like to think)

Any way, thanks for the kind introduction, if there is any supplier / shops / professional you think I would benefit from in my quest for modernisation please let me know!

Thanks again

Ben
