I shall not bore you with my eas leak problem :D. more to the point though has anybody fitted a valve to their p38 to pump up the system from an external compressor? dont want the car compressor running constantly while i try to find the leak, i am thinking of teeing into the pipe between the pump and valve block, do you think i will damage the compressor doing this or is the nrv at the pump end of the pipe?
Cheers guys

No, disconnect compressor so it can't run and T an inflation valve into the violet coded pipe that goes into valve block. The air you put in must be totally dry or you will have problems later.
