thats proberly because they are restored and shipped aboard
A lot are going to mainland europe to cash in on the free road tax.that is a good point. where are most shipped? I know its not here, there aren't that many D90s/D110s here in the USA.

It's actually a BMW 320d underneath.![]()
lanny man, I like them both (landys and Jeeps). They both have their advantages/disadvantages. The air locking Dana44 axles and 4:1 transfer cases on the rubicon are very nice options I will admit.
Rich, you are correct. I have a cherokee that I paid $400 for...one new wheel hub for my DII discovery cost $400 here.
If I lived in the US or Canada, I'd buy a Jeep. There's more availability and supply & demand = cheaper. Also, Jeep parts are also cheaper than Land Rover parts over there. Here in the UK, it's the exact opposite.

The 4.0 petrol engines are said to be bulletproof too.
fook me you don't look very hard! there are loads down here!! all driven by women who are dropping their precious tarquin and tabatha off to school/horsey lessons
I was referring to Jeep parts. And while they're not exactly hard to get hold of, it's not like you will see one every day.
think you,ll find most in your import age range have rotted awaywhere do people in the UK list 25 year old and older D90s and D110s for sale? There are a few on UK autotrader, but I'm assuming that most older vehicles are listed on free websites like craigslist. However I do not seen many for sale on UK craigslist.
keep looking something will turn up cheap enough to warrant you to import sooner or later.oil dripper, thanks for the links. That's what I've feared...hard UK winters and salty roads have put many 25 year old ones in the junk yard. I've already emailed global landrovers..they're asking more than you can buy them for here in the US!
Rule 1: Don't call them Rovers.
"Rover" was actually a separate car manufacturer, unfortunately it was once the same company as Land Rover. However, they were renowned for making **** cars.
