6 points and £60 fine at the mo in Hants and Dorset :( if lights/windows or roof covered.

:D well i just wiped the snow off and its like daylight:doh:.........

only jokin, they are clean i will try the extra bright halfords ones first, i have read hid aftermarket kits are illegal:confused:

no the HID kits are legal,i have used them for awhile now with no probs, also they have the EU mark on them also.

the headlight have to be marked with a E standard before it is legal to fit HID in them.
and headlight have to be self level or the car have to be (not a problem with a p38) and there have to be washers on the headlight ( that the p38 also have )

then there only is a problem with the E mark , ( cant remember what that have to bee ... )

that maybe what the rules say,but my car went through it's MOT with them fitted and no head lamp washers neither.

Hi all

I put 800k white HID's in my P38 in the summer and well the result is fantastic i never use full beam there realy is no need.

I do get the odd flash from on comming cars as they think i'm on full beam but only a few times, but as i remeber from my L322 with standard HID's i was getting flashed in that car as well.

I got a set off fleebay for about £60 20 mins to install no probs.

Tony:)
