Bang on, 300tdi Had it for a year now was fine up until a couple of months ago, no tweaking of the pump to my knowledge. i change the air filter every 6k and it is due so I will go through the tubing and have a look.thanks

Hi been getting an intermittent problem. Lots of smoke after the engine has warmed up. Mostly when standing at a junction or pulling away in first and second. Does not happen all the time. I was thinking to replace the glow plugs anything else I should be looking at?

Resprayed the front light surrounds and grill, its took years of the old fella and saved me 36 quid...good show, will throw a pic on tomorrow

Yep did mine with the XS retrim kit, easy to do and made a world of difference, mine smelt a bit doggy when I got it but this sorted it, Before anyone starts I mean of dogs not of dogging...that's a whole different aroma

Any or all of the above really, main consideration is that they contain more rubber than my current ones

So I am going to need some new tyres soon any good places to buy the above, I live in Sussex. anyone know any good cheap and reliable suppliers. I don't do much off roading just the occasional field or track. Cheers

Thanks guys will give it the old belt and braces; glue and cable ties. Mrs Toast will be pleased until the autumn as i think she forgot about telling me that it kept her High heels dry when the morning dribble splashed off her leg.

Hi there, got a nagging problem from Mrs. Toast. The rubber trim above the pedals keeps flopping down. the one i mean is the sheet with the slots in it for the pedals that covers the bulkhead in the drivers foot-well. i keep shoving it back into the channel at the top but it just keeps coming...

Had the same yesterday, crunching banging noise when I took a left hand bend. Thought a strut was coming loose, turned out to be a Hub nut spanner rolling around under the drivers seat.

Just fitted a set of 6" speakers in the rear and adjusted to F/R balance so no more front cone distortion when the volume is turned up to barely audible. Finally wired up the front spots so I can see the road now. Took the time to put in an aux fuse box in the battery bay for future upgrades...

I work in catering so I grabbed a new pelican pump that we use for washing up liquid dispensing, cut the spout off and shove a length of rubber tubing to it and a bit more on the intake end so it reaches the bottom of the oil container. The pump screws onto the thread of a 5lt oil bottle shove...
