I have a 1998 freelander done 80000 mile ive have a noise from i think the middle of the car, whining/ bearing noise starts when the cars starts moving and is there all the time and is quiet loud, any ideas what it could be boys???

just need the money, dont really want to sell it but the misses said something has to go, me or the landy!! many thanks anyway!

I know how they were on there, but i think they are wrong.

Who cares which way they came off, if your as good as you think you r,you would know! On a lwb v8 or 6 cyd are the front shoes on top and bottom with the cyd's at the side or are the shoes at the side and the cyd's at the top and bottom????? is that any better for u sir???

Many thanks for all the replys, I brought the landy only a few months ago and have been off roading it with a load of nutters! I just started having problems, im having to double pump the brakes to get pressure, so after going to get new shoes, started to fit them to find out there not the same...

I have a series 3 with what i think are lwb 2.6 front brakes, what i want to know is are the shoes meant to be top and bottom or side to side?? please someone help!

Can anyone help, need a few bits to finish off my landy I need the buterfly in the manifold and the brackets for the throttle and stop! someone must have a dead engine lying around with them one! many thanks damo

Its not real dark blue, and its only chugging smoke, starts up fine and runs nice! help! surely if it was rings or head gasket it would have trouble starting??

The smoke is a little bit blue, could it be pump timing, the gear or chain worn??

I have a series 3 diesel that just started smoking, I dont think its the rings, i think it must be the fueling, has anyone had this before???
