Td5 with running issue's. any advice would be much appreciated!

I would check the fuel pump, mine lacked power and then failed to start after cutting out, did all the usual checks then ended up at the pump, mine looked like this when i removed it, cleaned it, replaced it and now runs fine.

    disco wont rev up

This problem screams of the pedal potentiometer, i would check that the plug is seated correctly, make sure the wiring is not damaged in any way, if that fails then your only option is Nanocom as advised in earlier post, The only other option i can think of is the MAF sensor as a friend of mine...

    Voltage at glow plugs.

According to AutoData the glowplugs have a nominal rating V/A 12, and a activation time of 8 seconds. If i'm right this means they are 12 volts and they run for 8 seconds before the relay cuts the power. If your glowplug light is coming on for around 8 seconds and the car starts first time...

    Carbon monoxide inside the car

You could also check out the inner wing vents(think that's what you would call them), usually found behind the panels in the boot area, if one of these is open it could be getting in through there, you could always seal the one on the same side of the exhaust outlet with gaffa tape, they just...

    Discovery 2 EKA entry.

Something tells me that you would need the actuator working to send the correct signals through the system, i may be wrong but as its not working it does seem logical.

    Voltage at glow plugs.

easiest way to test a glow plug is take a set of jump leads and put Negative to the outside of the plug and Positive to the tip where the wire would go, they should glow within 3 or 4 seconds, do not touch they ends once they have glowed as they stay hot for a long time and it will take your...
