i had a few patches like that when i bought my 90 6 years ago i just did as al203 says painted made sur it was sealed up and its still good now it just seems like surface rust on cars if the moisture gets under a bit of paint damage it reeps

hello visiting from the darkside[defenders] i am toying with the idea of fitting air suspension to my 90, what i need to know is what height is a rrc airbag when fully deflated to height when inflated as i could do with a 4" drop to get it in my garage , any help would be appreciated

mines a 1999td5 air temp is taken from the map sensor on the inlet manifold you could try unplugging this and see if that makes any difference,on the later td5 it has a temp reading on the aap sensor (air filter box) but the older ones don't.i had a problem with the map sensor were it would jump...

checked live data ,all seemed okay but as driveing iinlet temp went from 19degrees to119 degrees then dropped to minus36 so it looks like I need a map sensor but would like to change plug as well anyone know were to get one?
