Anyone recommend a specialist near Bath?

Hi I've a problem with my 2003 Discovery 2 TD5. I think it's the fuel pump failing/failed but don't have the facilities handy to deal with it myself. Can anyone recommend a specialist in the Bath/ Britsol/ Somerset/Wilts area? Cheers!

    110 TD5 intermittent hesitation

Hi Jonny. Did you get the bottom of your car's problem? It sounds very similar to what's happening to my Disco 2 TD5.

    Release your TD5 power!!

Sorry for reviving an old thread but my 2003 TD5 auto Disco 2 suffers the occasional 'hiccup' or hesitation under load. Done all the usual stuff - injector harness etc. The wastegate actuator was stuck when I checked but with WD40 and using mole grips on the rod, it has freed up and has a fair...

    Throttle Position Sensor fault?

Could any of the experts on here help with this one please? My 2003 Disco 2 TD5 "hiccups" under a part-throttle. Not all the time but enough to be worrying. Occasionally it's so bad that the M+S green lights come on and the thing goes into limp mode. However, switch it off, give it a minute and...

    Sedimenter... or lack of

Will a Disco 2 TD5 run OK if the electrical connector is left unconnected? Reason is that wire no1 (of 3) has broken right at the point where it enters the connector. I can't see anyway of re-inserting the wire so it means a new connector and wires. I don't mind buying one - it's just that...

Looking for a Defender - a bit scary!

Hi all I'm looking for my first Land Rover, a Defender 110. From what I've read, a 2002-2004 seems about right and within my budget (just). But after looking through the forums and reading the specialist mags, it seems a bit of a minefield. Guess I'm probably going to buy from a Land Rover...

How important is mileage when buying?

Hello I'm looking to buy my first Defender 110, and looking at 2002-2004 models (they seem to be about my budget). Lower mileage is usually better but what is an optimum mileage? 120,000+ miles seems to me to be asking for trouble but I don't know Defenders very well yet. Cheers!
