You could buy one and give it a try. I don't know much about older Defenders. I drove a friend's NAS V8 Defender 90 back when they were new. (I'm American, moved to the UK 8 years ago) His had the doors with the sliding window tops. Must have been about 1994.

Lift up handle doors??? You could probably cut holes and "make them fit" but no idea if it would keep the water out.

I blasted the 110 with a pressure washer for 15 minutes and only a tiny bit of water got in. There is a small leak on the tub seal. It may be as dry as I'm going to get it. I'll see how it does during the next big storm. Those are genuine Land Rover water shedders. Part numbers...

So far: The drain notch in the gutter below the windscreen on the right hand side was clogged. I cleaned it when I was doing the first round of water tests. I fixed the passenger side door hinge. One of the captive nuts was broken. Replaced both nuts with the new improved genuine LR nut...

Here is a photo of the upper door hinge. I'm going to order the correct bolts and a couple of gaskets from John Craddock, Rimmer Bros. or whoever has them in stock.

I did some tests yesterday to try and figure out where the water is getting in. I poured a 2L bottle of water onto the windscreen frame to bulkhead seal. Nothing. I poured another 2L on and around the windscreen. Nothing. Following that massive success, I dug out my Hozelock Portashower...

Could be. They didn't lift the last of the restrictions on farms in North Wales until 2012.

We don't pay much attention to football. . . Some days it looks like 1/3 of the Defender 90s on the road are in North Wales.

I searched on Defender 90, Defender 110 and Defender 130 to reduce that sort of error. Howmanyleft is not perfect. I'm sure the actual numbers are off a bit. There are a few more that are in good running condition but are not taxed for on-road use.

It is a 110 Hardtop. There is headliner in front back to about the B Pillars. The rest is open sheet metal.

Hmmm. I will have a closer look. I may have missed something. That is certainly an easier fix and something I can do myself. My biggest fear is that lifting the roof will create new leaks. Trying to decide if I'm going to do the bulkhead seal myself or pay someone to do the work...

We've had our 110 hardtop six days, and I already need to fix something. The windscreen to bulkhead seal is leaking like crazy. It isn't coming from the hinges. That would be too easy. Time to take some photos.... We could ignore a little water, but the passenger will get soaked...

It was fairly obvious once I knew where to look. Ours does not have ABS. There is a big empty spot next to the brake servo. One less thing to go wrong...
