I'm replacing the front brake cylinders on my series 3, I purchased new ones but the brake drum is locking up, on further investigation the new one is approx 3mm bigger from the base to the shoe slot, I'm presuming the shoe is hitting the side of the drum, anyone else had this problem or is it...

Hi, don't know if anyone can help? I just acquired a 90 with a 19J engine (yes I'm aware of it's many foibles) Just changed the oil n filter, the book says fill with 6.85 litres of oil but....... ..... if I put that much in it would be 2inches above the high fill line???? It don't take much...
