Turns out there was no need to worry! Removed a few spark plugs and hand cranked it a bit, they were all turning freely (with a few clouds of soot here and there!), no problem! Now, some fresh fuel, find a decent battery and it's time to turn the thing!

Okay, so I've got a few rusty bits and pieces in my Series 3 to deal with, I don't think any are a huge problem, but a rusty gubbins looks awful and to my mind is less impressive for the MOT man as well. I've read about electrolysis, anyone had any experience using this method of rust removal...
