    Rear seat belt anchor

Hopefully get them off in the next week so will let people know. I've got all the other mounting anchors too so was thinking of cleaning up and selling.

    LED'S

I had this problem the other week. I had a set of LEDs from bolt on bits. There is a small current across the lamp terminal in the dash consol. Normally not enough to cause an issue but with the very low current draw of LEDs it can be sufficient to cause both indicators to light up. Try taking...

    Rear seat belt anchor

Hi, I have a 110 300tdi CSW and have removed the main rear seatbelt anchor in the tub as I do not need seats there now. I want to fit some a side locker in the rear passenger wing and was wandering if I can also remove the tube anchor, item 3 on the attached picture, without any support...

Carrying mountain bikes in a Defender

I use a Maxxraxx 5 bike carrier, works really well and fits with spare wheel on the back door. Carries 4 bikes easily. http://www.maxxraxx.com/bike_racks_car_cycle_carriers_products/info_4x4_max5_flange.html

    B Post repair

The bottom of both my B posts need repair, holes below the bottom of the hinge on each side. I have got the repair pieces from YRM and spoken to a Garage who want to strip inside, remove and support the roof to weld in the new sections. Talking a couple of days to fix and quite a hefty bill...

    TMAX Split charge advice

I've got two T-Max units fitted, one in the Landy and one in the campervan. Both auto link and always have. It's my understanding this is normal when the engine is running. The manual link is there to use when the engine is not running and you need the extra power for a cold start or winching.

    storage solutions

This was my take on it. I built this so I could carry 4 x Wolf boxes securely but also use it for bags etc keeping it nice and open if needed. The wooden end where the 2nd row seats go slides out if I need to carry anything long. I've just got back from 3 weeks in Morocco and it has stood up...

    Morocco Easter time 2015

Hi folkes, I'm in Morocco at the moment. Been here a couple of weeks and travelled quite a few of the pistes near the Algerian border. There's quite a few police and army check points but everyone very friendly and helpful, we've had no trouble at all. The army have closed a couple of the runs...

Spent 2 days in Erg Chebbi at Dune Dor Auberge, lovely place right on th edge of the dunes. A great...

    Bloody indicators!

Main one is from neg terminal on battery but you will also have one usually on the bulkhead in the engine bay. You can also have them behind the headlights and also at the rear behind the panels that blank off behind the rear lights. Have you also checked the obvious of the indicator fittings...

    Safari snorkel install

Tis nice and easy job. I did mine a couple of weeks ago on a 300tdi defender. I would take your time to get the template lined up correctly. The instructions mention a 16mm hole for the 3 wing holes but 12mm works fine. I used normal bolts on the wing studs whilst I lined up the windscreen...
