So, in a nut shell, if I was to get a winch fitted I should buy a deep cycle battery (yellow top) and parrallel connect to orig landy battery. Use the yellow as the secondary batt. which powers the winch. I could simply connect in parrallel so both charge on normal daily use, connect the winch...

Tekaloid is a named brand. Has its own colour charts. Thick, and self leveling. Also takes a while to dry so allows you plenty of time to paint. Brush or roller. Search on ebay for a cheap supplier. Steve

I've ordered 5l to paint my 110 SW. Am using a brush to paint my lr in Tekaloid. Will post pics when done.

I think it's a great idea, to have a matching trailer, works for minis and beetles. I agree the technical details might need work, and thats why he's asked questions. :) I admire the enthusiasm. Perhaps a rear tub on an existing trailer chassis? Good luck lad!

Damn right, partners should be supportive, and how unpractical is a mini, then you'll have two cars with no rear seats!!! and boots no bigger than the glove box! A defender is not ugly, it shows that your ruggid and practical :)

Well, if it was my decision, and litrally the only thing I could take into account was the car, mini or defender, then she'd go, and I'd find a girl who loves the Landy! :)

I'm concerned too, I have a 1990 110 in the zone. When entered into the LEZ checker says not affected by 2008 rule. Doesn't mention 2010 rule. Another defender plate entered does. My T reg Golf displays the same result as my landy. I had to change the DVLA logbook from Disabled,and entered PLG...
