Hmmm Ive just twigged on as you just sold the smartbox to me via zbay......Still havent fitted it yet as i was thinking the same thing about the Black wire but i did noticed the wiring loom wasnt from the smartbox as you say it might cover the TD5. Thanks

Thanks Longdog....Both the clock & radio was fine worked fine before...I fitted an aftermarket radio when i got the freelander... i think it was a Kenwood unit and all was well until i replaced it with the Blaupunkt unit.....I understand the original land rover radio / tape player used the clock...

Hi....Thank you for looking.....I have some gremlins in my freelander 99 It all started after installed an aftermarket stereo Blaupunkt...Overtime my time clock in the centre of the dash failed and you cant reset the date / time so i purchased another 2nd hand clock and its still the same you...

It all depends on what size wheels you have...I have 15 inch which was solid discs .....16 inch wheels mainly have vented discs :confused: If you have 15 inch you can upgrade the discs to drilled & slotted discs with heavy duty pads do improve it however it might just be the caliper sliders are...

Hi all....Just asking if anyone has had trouble with the rear exhaust box banging ? Ive had a non genuine rear box replaced but it still knocks around like the last exhaust box & wondered if its to do with the rear hanging rubbers? I replaced the rubbers with some non genuine heavy duty rubbers...

Hello....I replaced mine with a K&N filter but i was put off with the having to re-oil it after washing it & later found its can cause problems with the MAF sensor...so i ended up replacing it with a Britpart DA4267 which needs no re-oiling & so far is ok but you don't notice the performance...
