I have been offered a very good condition steering box off a 2009 puma 90. My question is will this fit ok on my 1988 90 as I'm not sure they ever changed the steering box on defenders ever.

After a steering wheel since my aftermarket one has decided to snap.

I have got a aftermarket steering wheel on mine but it has snapped. Do the universal ones fit as mine was 1 of the ones where its held onto the boss by the 6 screws. The gap between the screws is about 50mm but the universal ones on eBay say they are 70mm even though they are 14inch like mine.

Do to the rip off prices of brackets on eBay which are sometimes more than the hi lift jacks themselves. Does anybody have any brackets for attaching one to the rear of 90 thanks.
