Output shaft seal.

My transfer box has decided to pee oil out the front output shaft a week before I go away laning in it my problem is what type of hammer puller will be suitable to buy off eBay or similar. Is it a hard job 2.

if its just the seal remove flange and prise old seal out no need of a slide hammer

Will pull out with screwdriver,
Remove prop, loosen nut and remove flange

Pull seal out with large flat blade screwdriver

Fit new seql with drift

Refit removed parts with new felt washer

That's will be good news. How can you tell if the bearing has gone.

Hopefully will just be the seal as it's really losing a lot of oil very quickly. There doesn't seem to be any movement from the shaft.
