fixed ,turned out to be duff relay driver side!!!!!!

help via this site so good ,so latest problem is that when left or right indicator is used the flashes work on the car aok and without trailer fitted the initial light on the dashboard flashes and the relay can be heard clicking but the light to indicate l/r on the dashboard whichever direction...

first line spot on steve.all aok.

absolutely spot on charles,a friend found master cylinder low in fluid ,bled it and the gear box even gets first easily best its been in the 9yrs i had the disco.Thanks to all you guys for the helpful suggestions.

Many thanks for quick reply steve,my disco is with me in france so i am sure the parts wont be easy to find and its going to be more than what you suggest as i cant do the repairs, so i will be at the mercy of the local garage.i will keep u posted cheers.

my 200tdi manual gearbox has difficulty in selecting a gear when engine is on,engine off the gear stick seem to be able to select easily,have i got an expensive repair looming?

read your tip as i have similar problem with rear windows,the forum had pointed to the dry joint on the ecu which my disco doesnt have(1993 )but i have 12v on both fuses c1,c2 front windows aok but your info says avoid the yellow relay ,why what happens if pulled out by mistake?there is no 12...

On my disco both the rear electric windows have stopped working,have tested switches in doors and central console inhibit seem aok,found no fuses broken any leads to problem please? Found the threads to same problems earlier in forum, but where is the suspect ecu situated if the glove box has...
