    When the left hand intercooler pipe is disconnected from the engine side the engine can be revved upto 3500rpm. none of the pipes then suck flat, although its not responsive as per normal. when revving light coloured smoke from exhaust is evident, and correlates to the amount of revving.:o...

    Hi, the air filter is removed - last night by green flag guy, makes no odds. Having said that, on the large bore pipe from the air intake on the left front of the engine bay there is no detectable pull or push of air movement. Thanks, Doug Ps would it be turbo related?

The guy then suggested maybe intercooler full of oil, I have'nt removed it to check but I did look in the inlet / outlets and they showed no...

    hi everyone, Im new to this! last night my td4 freelander broke down. :( lost engine power whilst travelling down motorway. It will tick over ok, but will not rev. The air hoses are sucking flat when you put your foot down and it will not exceed 1000 rpm. Is it the turbo??? or solenoid valve...
